Martha Tuwana Williams, a cherished soul, graced this world on June 18, 1939, in Manolu, Maryland County, Liberia. In pursuit of a brighter future, Martha ventured to the United States in the early 1960s. Her journey began as a Hairdresser and a Caregiver, which showcased her nurturing and compassionate nature. Her devotion to her family was unwavering. She embraced the role of a loving mother to her daughters Tomar, Nijia, and Noami. In her quest to provide comfort and support, Martha consistently visited and cared for her relatives and friends, offering solace during times of illness and adversity.
Residing on 31st Street in New York City, Martha immersed herself in the vibrant community around her. Her warm and vibrant personality endeared her to many, leaving a lasting impression on those she loved.
Martha passed away peacefully at the NYU Langone Hospital. She embraced the Lord as her personal Savior and was prepared to meet Him. Martha Tuwana Williams leaves to cherish her memories with her daughters Tomar, Nijia, and Naomi, grandsons Roman, Javon, and Tristan, son-in-law Joseph, cousins, Harlem Church of Christ family, Karluway Development Association, and a host of relatives and friends in the USA and Liberia.
