Psalms 103:1–4 (KJV)
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
With deep sorrow and in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection, the Ricks, Clinton, and Kpana families announce the passing of Maimae Ricks, who, after a long, protracted battle, transitioned from this life on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Maimae was preceded in death by her beloved parents. She is survived by her loving son, George Clinton; her siblings; nieces; nephews; cousins; extended relatives; and a large community of loving friends across the United States, Liberia, and around the world.
Maimae was a devoted mother, a cherished sister and aunt, and an exceptionally thoughtful friend. Her warmth, humor, and generosity were unmistakable. She had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. Her embrace, her laughter, and the unmistakable light she carried will remain with us forever.
As a family, we thank God for every moment shared and every memory created. Maimae’s presence enriched our lives, and she will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
