In Loving Memory of Sara Euphemia Wilson

Revelation 21:4: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, because the former things have passed away.”

It is with profound sadness that the Wilson, Brewer, Tubman and Harmon families announce the homegoing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunty, Cousin and Friend – Sara Euphemia Wilson.

This sad event occurred on Friday, April 18^th, 2025, at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

Sara was predeceased by her parents, Chief Justice A. Dashward Wilson Sr. and Catherine Chelnicia Brewer, her siblings Rachel Wilson Gardiner, A. Dashward Wilson Jr., George Wilson, Margaret Wilson Mirin, Antoinette Wilson, Julia Wilson, Martha Wilson and David Wilson, her children Anthony Eke and Rachel (Barbie) Gardiner Cummings, her grandchild Hubert Greene and great-grandchild Glenna Nimley.

Sara leaves to mourn her children Euphemia (Phemia) Wilson, Glenna Wilson, Gabriella (Gabie) Hney, Karin Mirin, James Davis (Wil), Thomas Major (Esther) and Sieta Scott (Clark); her grandchildren – Glenn Nimley (Patience), Pheme (Leemu) Kanasuah and Kojo King Jr., her great-grand daughter Michelle Glenda Nimley and siblings – Adeline Wilson Hedd-Williams, Katherine Wilson, Juanita Wilson and Francis Wilson Hoff.

She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and children notably Faikai Gardiner (Edwina), Cecelia Gardiner, Dash Gardiner (Phyllis), Margaret Gardiner Cooper (Kenneth), Richard Gardiner (Natalie), Natalie Wilson and Margaret Wilson, her best friends/sisters Agnes Thompson and Charlotte Bedell, and her other children Musa and Florence Goll and Zelma Murray.
