We regret to announce the unexpected departure of Boakai M. Dorley on December 8, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, United States.
Recognized for his enlightening contributions, Boakai was a devoted husband and a caring father to his children, ensuring they were surrounded by love, support, and inspiration. Beyond being a father, he was a mentor and role model, consistently investing his best efforts into their education and well-being. Moreover, he committed to enhancing the academic sphere and supporting individuals in their professional journeys and career pursuits. His brilliance, kindness, and love resonated, leaving a lasting impact on everyone privileged to be a part of his life.
Boakai leaves behind his wife, Deddeh Dorley, a cherished legacy through his three children: Anderick Dorley, Cedrick M. Dorley, and Eldekai M.Dorley. The late Boakai M. Dorley was predeceased by his parents, Morris M. Dorley and Musu Dorley. His influence extends to his siblings, nephews, nieces, and cousins, and he will be deeply missed by numerous friends and loved ones who share in the sorrow of his departure.
