Our beloved mother and grandmother Grace Flowers Ricks has gone home to be with the Lord. This occurred on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the Saint Joseph Catholic Hospital in Monrovia Liberia. She leaves to mourn her three children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, well-wishers, sister and a host of relatives in the USA, Liberia and other parts of the world.
Amazing Grace, Ricksie, Ma Grace, Mama, Auntie Grace, Grandma Grace, we called her. She was loved by her children and family. She was known for her jokes and always had something to sell, what she would call “My market”.
During her earlier years, she worked at the JFK Medical Center in Monrovia, Liberia. She also worked at the Ministry of Agriculture in Liberia for thirty-three years, in the Home Economics Department, where she later retired.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 10:00am
