Eugene Nketia Ashong

“And the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” – Ecclesiastes 12:7

It is with profound sorrow that the Ashong, Tucker, Blibo, and Diggs families announce the homegoing of our beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and nephew; Eugene Nketia Ashong. This sad event occurred in the early hours of July 26^th, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. He was surrounded by his loved ones. 

Our father was born to Albert and Rebecca Ashong (nee Tucker) and lived an extraordinary life filled with love. He was principled and lived his life guided by service and integrity. He was very dedicated to the various communities he was a part of, and a devoted Catholic. 

Eugene is survived by:

Children: Eugene Gedeon Ashong, Marcia Mamaa Ashong, Janet Ashong, and Royale Williamson. 

Aunt: Mrs. Lucy Tucker

Siblings and Other Family: Rebecca Ashong, Rebecca Kromah-Mollie, Charles Mar, EK Attoh, Margaret Diggs, Bill Diggs, Albertine Austin, Pinky Ashong, Oona Burke, and a host of other relatives. 

May our Dad rest in perfect peace.
