The Tolbert, Porte and Deshield families announce with profound regret the death of our beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle and cousin, Eric Tolbert. Bob Eric as he was affectionately called departed this life on Friday, June 20, 2023 at the Hennepin Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, after a protracted illness. He was 79 years old.
Born in the then Township of Bensonville, now Bentol City, Careysburg Statutory District, Montserrado County, R.L., unto the union of Mr. J. Harold Tolbert, Sr. and Mrs. Nakarnay Tolbert both of whom predeceased him, Mr. Tolbert, leaves to mourn his loss, his children, Bernard Tolbert, Eric Tolbert, Jr., and Erica Tolbert. Grandchildren: Charles Tolbert, Catherine Tolbert and Erica Tolbert. Sisters: Euphemia Porte, and Vera Tolbert. Brothers: J. Harold Tolbert, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
