Psalms 23:1-6 It is with great sadness and pain in our hearts that we announce the death of Elizabeth Weynnoh Turay Cummings, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt and friend! She was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 13, 2021 after a brief hospital stay at the Helene Fuld Crisis Hospital – Trenton NJ. She was 81 years old. She leaves to mourn her six children, Harry N. Tucker, James T. Cummings Jr, Saralee G. Cummings, Chela Cummings, Wellington O. Cummings, and Bishop Dr. Joshua Cummings, her daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends in the United States and Liberia. Elizabeth Cummings was hardworking, ambitious, determined, and resilient. She was an avid reader who spent her free time reading a variety of books. She loved English literature and enjoyed exploring the word through reading. She was a gentle, kind, loving, and compassionate person. She will be dearly missed and remembered as a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, sister, and friend to many. Her smile could light up the room and she was a delight whenever she had the opportunity to spend time with the many babies and small children who were brought into her life.
