With profound sorrow and grief-stricken hearts, the Darpoh and Gunkartee families regrets to announce the sudden and untimely homegoing of their beloved daughter, mother, niece, and cousin Daphne Aquah Darpoh, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She leaves to mourn her mother Josephine Nimba Burr Wheeler, her father Emmanuel Kofi Darpoh, her 2 beloved kids Nazirah and Moses McPherson, and a host of relatives and friends.
Aquah as she was affectionately called, was a very outgoing and people person. She loves being around her mother and kids and popping up at family events. She had a laugh that was contagious and was the life of the party. She touched so many lives with her jokes, hugs, and love.
The sudden passing of Aquah leaves a deep void and sorrow that can only be filled with the memories and love she shared with all. She will be deeply missed by her mother, father, children, cousins, uncles, aunties, and a host of relatives and friends.
Please join the family for Aquah’s celebration of life.
There will be no wakekeeping.
