The Kyne, Badio, Kobbah and Karpeh families announce with deep sorrow the passing of our husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend Burphy S. Kyne. This sad and mournful event took place in the early morning hours of January 25, 2023 at his home in Morrisville, PA after a period of illness.

Burphy leaves to mourn his homegoing his wife Josephine Karpeh-Kyne, his children Concetta Siedy Campbell (Charles), Francella Giedy Kyne, Yeahmu Kyne (Aminata), Deode Kyne and Lischen Tuody Kyne. Several brothers and sisters Francis Webba Wilson (Ama), Francella Klade Wisner, Concetta Hody Chelerak (McCarthy), Ruth Kyne George (Frederick), Elizabeth Kyne Saylae (J. Kpauwlu), Mentee Q. Shannon (Christiana), Annett Kyne Snoweah (James), Otis Kyne, Mary Juwo Kyne, Atina Kyne, Patience Kyne, Comfort Kyne, Giedy Kyne and Clarence Kyne. Burphy is also survived by his brother inlaw Titus Wesley, Sr. and he has several cousins, few of whom he considered sisters and brother and they are Gledy Badio Wariebi, Cecelia Marpu Kyne, Gladys Klade Kimber, Rachel Badio, Beatrice Kyne Rosario (Efraim), Helena Junius (Isaac), Tude Kyne and Yatay Tuoway.
