The Madison, Kelley, Kumeh, and Karpeh families announce with heavy hearts and profound sadness the passing of our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and cherished friend, Amasi Cree Kumeh.
She was peacefully called to eternal rest on March 31, 2026, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her through her love, warmth, and gentle presence. While her time with us was far too short, the impact of her spirit and the memories we shared will remain in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her loving mother, Bernice Madison Kumeh, and her father, Francis Kumeh. She is also survived by her grandmother, Mary Taryonnoh Karpeh Snowe; her sister, Asatue Kumeh; a host of aunts and uncles; two godchildren; and a host of grandaunts, granduncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother, Meleiah Kelley Madison, as well as other relatives.
We find comfort in the promise that God will wipe away every tear, and there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain, holding onto the hope and peace that her soul now rests in eternal comfort.
During this difficult time, we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayers, calls, and unwavering support. Your kindness brings us comfort as we navigate this profound loss.
