With profound sorrow and deep gratitude to God for a life beautifully lived, we announce the home-going of our cherished mother, Ma Nancy Polan Morgan, who entered eternal rest on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA. She transitioned peacefully, surrounded by the love and presence of her family, at the blessed age of 80 years and eleven months.
She was predeceased by her husband, the late Rev. Frank M. Dine, Sr. and her parents Molley Kiang and Polaweneh Tolbert-Kiang. Ma Nancy leaves behind a rich and enduring legacy. She is lovingly remembered and mourned by her seven children: Joseph Hallowanger, Doris Dine Norman (Dr. Zobong Boima Norman), Alice Dine Howard (Melvin Datu Howard) Frank M. Dine Jr., Frances Dine-Lavelah (Paul Lavelah), Rebecca Dine-Nyeswa (the late Emmanuel Barthan Nyeswa) & Johnetta Handful Dine. Thirty-seven grandchildren and thirty-two great- grandchildren, each carrying forward the values she so faithfully instilled.
The embrace of Ma Nancy’s heart extended far beyond her biological children. Together with her beloved husband, she opened her home to more than twelve additional children, each one nurtured with unwavering love, steadfast faith, and a commitment to their growth and well-being.
Her life’s impact reaches across Liberia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Congo, Brazzaville, and many other places where countless relatives and friends now mourn her passing and celebrate her extraordinary legacy.
